Trustee Amendment Bill: Consistency with the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990 Our Ref: ATT395/31

1. I have reviewed this Bill for consistency with the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990.

The Bill changes the principal Act by modifying the powers, duties and liabilities of trustees and defining the relationship between trustees, advisory trustees and protectors.

2. The Bill raises no issue arises under the Bill of Rights Act in respect of the Bill.

3. This advice has been peer reviewed, in accordance with Crown Law Office protocol, by Mr Keith, Crown Counsel.
