1 This section applies if a member of the Police reasonably believes that a shooting club or shooting range—a) is failing, is likely to fail, or has failed to comply with any conditions to which a certificate of approval or certification is subject; orb) is contravening, is likely to contravene, or has contravened a provision of this Act or regulations made under this Act.
2 If this section applies, the member of the Police may issue an improvement notice to the shooting club or the operator of the shooting range requiring the shooting club or shooting range, within a reasonable period of time specified in the notice, to—a) remedy the non-compliance or contravention; orb) prevent a likely non-compliance or contravention from occurring.
