ARMS ACT 1983 - SECT 55A

55A Offence to assemble prohibited firearm

Every person commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years who, without lawful purpose,—

a) assembles a prohibited firearm; or

b) converts a firearm into a prohibited firearm.
