1 A person commits an offence if the person intentionally—a) marks a complete firearm, or a complete but unassembled firearm, with any false identifying markings at the time of manufacture; orb) marks an imported firearm with any false identifying markings.
2 A person who commits an offence against subsection (1) is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years.
