Saving in respect of business acquisitions
46 Saving in respect of business acquisitions
Nothing in this Part
applies— a) to any of the following to the extent that the contract,
arrangement, understanding, or covenant provides for the acquisition or
disposition of assets of a business or shares: i) entering into a contract or
an arrangement:
ii) arriving at an understanding:
iii) giving, or requiring
the giving of, a covenant; or
b) to any act done to give effect to a
provision of a contract, arrangement, understanding, or covenant that provides
for the acquisition or disposition of assets of a business or shares.
