Commission must monitor compliance
57ZJ Commission must monitor compliance
1 The Commission— a) must monitor
compliance by suppliers with any requirements set out in regulations under
this Part or in a Commission service quality code; and
b) in doing so, may
have regard to the scale, complexity, and risk profile of a supplier or the
type of water services being provided by the supplier.
2 For the purpose of
monitoring compliance with any of those requirements, the Commission may, in
addition to exercising its powers under section 98 , issue a written notice to
a supplier requiring it to provide any or all of the following: a) a written
statement of whether the supplier has complied with the requirement:
b) a
report on the written statement that is signed by an auditor in accordance
with any form specified by the Commission:
c) sufficient information to
enable the Commission to properly determine whether the requirement has been
complied with:
d) a certificate in the form specified by the Commission, and
signed by at least 1 board member of the supplier or, if there is no board,
the person who operates the supplier, confirming the truth and accuracy of any
information provided under this section.
