LEGISLATION ACT 2019 - SECT 41
Secondary legislation may make consequential amendments to other secondary legislation
1 A power to make secondary legislation (the
"main secondary legislation" ) under one Act (the
"main Act" ) includes a power to make consequential amendments to other
secondary legislation made by the same person (whether or not made under the
same Act).
2 An amendment is
"consequential" for the purposes of this section if it is consequential on the
passing or making of either or both of the following: a) the main Act or any
amendment to it:
b) the main secondary legislation or any amendment to it.

The only facts, circumstances, or preconditions that must exist or be
satisfied before the consequential amendments are made are those (if any) for
making the main secondary legislation.
