Powers of office holder may be exercised by acting office holders
47 Powers of office holder may be exercised by acting office holders
A power conferred on the holder of an office, other than a Minister of the
Crown, may be exercised by 1 or both of the following: a) a person who is the
holder’s deputy lawfully acting in the office:
b) a person who is for the
time being lawfully holding, or performing the duties of, the office.
