Annual report on exemptions from presentation and other drafting and publication matters
83A Annual report on exemptions from presentation and other drafting and
publication matters
1 The Chief Parliamentary Counsel must, as soon as
practicable after the end of each financial year of the PCO, prepare a report
on the following matters and provide it to the Attorney-General: a) the extent
to which makers have relied on presentation exemptions during the previous
financial year; and
b) any other practices relating to the design, drafting,
and publication of legislation that the Chief Parliamentary Counsel thinks
fit.
2 The Attorney-General must present the report to the House of
Representatives.
