PARENTAL LEAVE AND EMPLOYMENT PROTECTION ACT 1987 - SECT 71ZB
Review of department's decisions about parental leave payment
1 An
employee or a self-employed person may apply to the
Employment Relations Authority for a review of a decision made by the
department relating to— a) the person's entitlement to a parental leave
payment:
b) whether a parental leave payment may be transferred to the person
under section 71E :
c) the amount of parental leave payment made to the
person:
d) the deduction or recovery of overpayments by the department under
section 71X .
2 An application for review must be made within 12 months after
the date on which the decision is notified to the employee or
self-employed person.
3 The Authority may confirm, modify, or reverse the
decision of the department.
4 An application for review under this section
may be made in respect of a decision described in subsection (1) that is
notified to the person after the commencement of this section.
