15 Information for defendant that must be in or with documents served under
section 13
1 An initiating document served in Australia under section 13 must contain or
be accompanied by the prescribed information for the defendant.
2 The
prescribed information for the defendant must be or include general
information about— a) steps that the defendant must or may take in relation
to the proceeding; and
b) consequences of the document being served on the
defendant in Australia under section 13 .
3 The Governor-General may, by
Order in Council, make regulations prescribing information for the defendant
for the purposes of, and under, this section.
4 Regulations under this
section are secondary legislation (see Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for
publication requirements).
